Kusadasi is the gateway to Ephesus, the showplace of Aegean Archaeology and the ArtemisTemple, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world should not be missed.

If your ship docks in Izmir, the Castle of Alexander the Great on the Mount of Pagos and Agora is a must see and Ephesus is also easily reachable.

Either in Bodrum itself or in one of the other surrounding villages on the Bodrum peninsula is a market day every day of the week. Modrum's Tuesday textile market is famous with local fabrics from all over the region on sale. Or you can visit the castle of St Peter , built by the Knights of Rhodes along with the world famous Museum of Underwater Archaeology housed in the castle.
