Extending your visit
For those with a special interest, we highly recommend adding several extra days in Moscow to focus on areas such as Jewish History, architecture, modern art, literature, music, applied arts and World War II.
Not far from Moscow are the towns and villages of the Golden Ring. Visit Suzdal, the “Colonial Williamsburg” of Russia with its fairytale architecture, horse-drawn carriages and ancient frescoes. Nearby, the town of Vladimir impresses visitors with its gorgeous churches and quaint homes- still lived in as they have been since the 18th Century. We recommend at least three nights in the Golden Ring.
