Looking to learn more about Russian culture and history? We suggest adding on a three-night journey to the birthplace of Russian culture, Kiev (a non-stop flight from St. Petersburg). Our tour will take us to the Cathedral of St. Sophia where we will admire the outstanding mosaics and frescoes, dating back to the 11th century and to the historical Kiev-Pecherskaya Lavra Monastery. If time allows, we recommend enjoying a VIP visit to the famous Mariinsky Palace, formerly the principal Romanov palace in Kiev.
