Extending Your Visit

Looking to learn more about Russian culture and history? We suggest adding on a three-night journey to the birthplace of Russian culture, Kiev (a non-stop flight from St. Petersburg). Situated on the Dnieper River, Kiev is a beautiful city whose history reaches as far back as the 5th Century B.C. Our tour will take us to the Cathedral of St. Sophia where we will admire the outstanding mosaics and frescoes, dating back to the 11th century and to the historical Kiev-Pecherskaya Lavra Monastery. If time allows, we recommend enjoying a VIP visit to the famous Mariinsky Palace, formerly the principal Romanov palace in Kiev.

If you are looking to unwind after your time in Russia, we recommend taking a flight to Copenhagen and spending two nights at the Hotel Skt. Petri, located in the heart of Copenhagen. Copenhagen is one of Scandinavia's most dynamic cities and offers great shopping and wonderful dining experiences.  Take a stroll along one of the many 17th century streets or canals and visit one of the city's famed museums or art studio's.  Copenhagen is the perfect stop before your journey home!
