Days 1 through 6: Vienna
We’ll tour the famous Hofburg Palace and its extensive Royal Treasury, and walk through Schönbrunn Palace, the summer home of the Hapsburgs. Belvedere Palace and Gardens house two wonderful art collections including sculpture from Vienna’s Golden Age. We’ll stroll Dorotheergasse, one of Vienna’s most popular and lively streets, home to some of the finest shopping in Europe, including the best antique shops of the city. For those interested in improving your waltzing skills, we will arrange a private lesson with a leading instructor. The highlight of our time in Vienna will no doubt be ringing in the New Year at Vienna’s famous Kaiserball.
