Extending Your Visit

From Dubrovnik you can easily visit the fortified town on the island of Korcula or travel to the southern Dalmatia countryside to the regions known as Cavtat and Konavle.  Also just south of Dubrovnik is Montenegro where we would suggest visiting the picturesque towns of Kotor and Budva.

We also recommend combining your Croatian travels with Vienna (Croatia was once part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire).  There are few cities in the world that can rival the beauty and culture of Vienna and it is just a short flight from Dubrovnik.  You can relax in a café while enjoying an original Sacher Torte or see a performance of the world-famous Lipizzaner horses at the Spanish Riding School.
