 Four Seasons Gresham Palace Budapest

The stunning facade of The Gresham Palace, one of Four Season's newest and most spectacular properties, commands one of the most coveted locations in Budapest, occupying the block fronting on the chain bridge, overlooking the majestic Danube as it cuts through Buda and Pest.

Originally constructed in 1906 as a office building for the Gresham Life Assurance Company of London, after World War II, The Gresham Palace was transformed into a luxury apartment building for Hungary's famous and privileged.

During the decades to come, the great building would slowly slip into a state of decline until finally, in 1998, Gresco Investments Limited purchased Gresham Palace for the sole purpose of developing it for use as a Four Seasons luxury hotel.

Now one of the finest displays of Art Nouveau in the world, the beautiful Gresham Palace is open after a four-year, 100 Million Euro renovation. With a sharp Four Season's staff, this property is well on its way to surpassing all previous records of luxury in Budapest.
