Athenee Palace Hilton, Bucharest

Athenee Palace Hilton, Bucharest

The Athenee Palace Hilton opened in 1914 and was designed by the French architect Theophile Bradeau. Over the last century the hotel has played host to  kings and presidents and Hollywood celebrities and was one of the primary settings in the Balkan Trilogy novels by Olivia Manning.

Located right in the heart of the city, the hotel has views of Revolution Square. The Romanian Athenaeum is close by, as well as many historic attractions, cafes, shops and theatres. The hotel has recently been refurbished and is the right choice for people who want a classic hotel in a central location.
