Four Seasons Hotel Des Bergues – Geneva
The Four Seasons Hotel Des Bergues has been an iconic palace hotel since 1834. The very first hotel in Geneva, it is globally renowned for impeccable service. Classic in style, with modern twists, the hotel has an enviable location with views right of the river and Lake Geneva. Almost a quarter of the hotel’s 115 rooms are suites, many of which are completely individual in style. Of the four regular room categories, the Deluxe are the most spacious, and views of the lake may be requested.
The Michelin Guide describes the hotel’s one-star restaurant Il Lago as: ‘Offering a taste of Italy on Lake Geneva, this restaurant combines decorative features such as pilasters and paintings with elegant Italian cuisine which is light, subtle and fragant. A delightful dining experience!’ Breakfast can also be taken alfresco in the summer on the outside terrace of the restaurant.
On the 7th floor of the hotel is Izumi, a renowned Japanese Fusion restaurant. In the summer the outside roof-top terrace gives stunning views of the mountains and lake. Also on the top floor of the hotel is the fabulous Mont Blanc spa, complete with full size lap pool and mountain views!
