The Herrnschlosschen is a 1,000-year-old hotel within the medieval city walls of Rothenburg. It was built in the 11th century and is one of the oldest preserved homes in Germany. It was restored and turned into a hotel, but still has the original charming wooden beams and brickwork throughout the building. If you’d like to explore the cobblestone streets of Rothenburg, many local dining and shopping options are within walking distance of the hotel.
It offers four rooms, each with a view of the Herrngasse and St. James Church, and four spacious suites offering views of the beautiful Baroque Garden. Free internet is offered throughout the hotel.
The Herrnschlosschen Restarurant is an onsite fine dining option that is considered a popular dining area in Rothenburg. Also, if you’d like, you may enjoy dining in the peaceful Baroque Garden.
Herrnschlosschen also offers a small spa with sauna and treatment rooms.
