The Walaker Hotel, located in Solvorn along the Sognefjord, is a charming family hotel with 22 rooms. The same family has owned this hotel since 1690 (making it the oldest family run hotel in Norway). With its prime location amongst mountains and fjords it is the perfect place to spend a couple evenings. In the summer months, guests enjoy sitting amongst the blossoming fruit trees and strolling through the rose garden. The hotel restaurant serves locally sourced items like seafood, venison, mushrooms, and apples.
Rooms do not include televisions, but have high speed internet. The room also does not have air conditioning. The hotel has easy access and booking for local activities (kayaking, hiking, biking, etc.). The Walaker has its own swimming beach in a sheltered bay on the Lusterfjord.
