Day 1
Arrival | Bergen Bergen, Norway

Upon arrival into Bergen your driver will meet you and transfer you to the Clarion Havnekontoret Hotel.

Nestled between seven hills and bordered to the north and west by numerous islands and hairline fjords, Bergen offers a truly spectacular setting!

A two-day Bergen Card providing entrance to museums and use of public transportation within the city center will be waiting for you at your hotel.

Day 2
City Tour | Bergen Bergen, Norway

Explore Bergen on a guided walking tour that includes the Fish Market and Old Bryggen, the site of the original settlement dating back 900 years. Stroll around quaint residential neighborhoods, a lake and public gardens that surround the heart of the city.

The national Theater where Henrik Ibsen was a director is also located nearby. Visit the Bergen Art Museum which houses three main collections including the City Art Collection established in 1878 and includes works by Picasso and Munch as well as a collection of Norwegian and Scandinavian art.

The fish market is often a lively hub of activity and it is worth spending a few minutes strolling through the stalls. Your guide will provide you with the opportunity to sample the difference between wild and farmed salmon and you can even try reindeer sausage.

This afternoon is at your leisure.

Day 3
Leisure Day | Bergen Norwegian Fjord

Today is at leisure to enjoy this beautiful city.

Bergen has some wonderful sites and we recommend visiting the Church of St Mary’s and taking the funicular up Mt Fløyen for spectacular views. In good weather it can be pleasant to spend some time here strolling along the walkways with Bergen laid out below you.
