Your guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel for a journey to Djurgården, a natural resort in the heartof Stockholm. Here you will visit Vasa Museet. Vasamuseet is Scandinavia’s most visited museum, for its maritimehistory and Housing of the Vasa warship. The Vasa, perhaps the grandest and most ambitious ship ever to bebuilt in Sweden, is the city’s prized treasure. She capsized and sank straight to the bottom on her maiden voyagein the 17th century only to be salvaged nearly 333 years later in 1961.
Next, you will have a visit at the Skansen, the world’s largest open-air museum. Displaying the life and buildings over the last 150 years, this miniature Sweden depicts how the city has evolved. During the summer months, you will enjoy live concerts, folk music, and dancing in Skansen.
Afterwards, take the ferry to Gamla Stan (Old Town). Time permitting, your guide will show you Storkyrkan,the Great Church, is set in the heart of Old Town. Dating back to the early 1500’s the Lutheran church is Gothicdesign and has been the setting for numerous Royal weddings.
Your guide will leave you in Old Town where you will have time to enjoy some lunch (payable locally) in the area.

After lunch, meet a certified Swedish beer judge who will be your guide as you sip your way through the Old Town. Travel along the winding streets of Gamla Stan listening to the history and traditions of beer drinking in Sweden. Stop along the way to try local craft beers – Cheers! Or, “Skål” as the Swedes would say.
