Private Concert at the Bela Bartok Memorial House
This morning, your driver and guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel to take you to the Franz Liszt Museum, and formerly his home in Budapest. The building was originally designed by Adolf Lang and has several bas reliefs of famous composers including Bach, Mozart and Beethoven.
Continue to visit the Bela Bartok house and memorial, commemorating the life and works of this avant garde composer. In its original place on the second floor is Bela's study. Each and every piece of the furniture - the Bösendorfer piano, the carved writing desk, the leather armchair - is intended to reflect the atmosphere in which the composer lived and worked here. The adjacent room displays Bartok's affection for Hungarian folk art.
On the second floor is a permanent exhibition which shows the materials of Bela's career, summing up his entire oeuvre. The exhibition puts a special emphasis on three significant activities of Bartok, those of the composer, the scholar of folk music, and the performer.
After your tour of the Bela Bartok House, enjoy a private concert of Bartok’s music.View Destination Page
