The Four Seasons Lion Palace was built by Auguste de Montferrand (he was also the architect of St Isaac's cathedral) in 1820 and was formerly a noble palace. Completely renovated and restored, the palace opened as a hotel in 2014. The hotel is located in St. Isaac’s Square, and has certain rooms with wonderful views of the cathedral.
