The private concert at Mozarts house was absolutely amazing. I cannot tell you how much it meant to my mother to have the opportunity. The waltz lesson was also exceptional as well as the tour of St Stephens. We enjoyed it all and LOVED the Black Camel restaurant.

All of our guides were very knowledgeable and we enjoyed learning. Experiencing this trip with my family and parents is priceless. As was the opportunity to meet our relative in Gdansk and spend time together.

Kamal was an perfect host and guide for our 11 days in Uzbekistan! His passion for world history, Central Asian culture, and his love for his country are palpable from sunrise to sunset everyday. His knowledge about each and every site is vast. It was absolutely fascinating to learn the history from him in particular, as he's clearly read all of the most important historical literature from both academia in the East and academia in the West. Talking about the religions of the region, the Romans, the Mongols, imperial Russia, the Great Game, the USSR, etc. is infinitely more interesting when you have more than just one perspective.

The guided tours on each day was outstanding. The guides in Vilnius, Riga, Belarus, and Tallinn were each in their own way amazing. They were knowledgeable, personable, spoke excellent English, and never had a negative moment or word.

Everything was FIRST CLASS. There were absolutely no glitches–all the guides and drivers were prompt and great. Thanks to Gwen and Exeter our rooms were upgraded at The Sacher, Sans Souci and Aria. All the hotels were amazing – great locations, rooms, and staff.

Very professional and well organized. We saw all that we wanted to. It will always be one of our best vacations. Guides were interesting and drivers professional. Top notch!!! Gwen was the best! With all my emails and phone calls, she was prompt, polite and knowledgeable. I can't seem to find all the words to express our pleasure with Exeter International. A special thanks to making our dreams come true.

We were extremely grateful for our tour guides and drivers, who made our trip much more meaningful, informative and efficient. We travelled in 3 countries and Exeter made it so easy. The staff at every hotel was excellent and attentive. We were also very grateful for the recommendations on sightseeing and restaurants. The trip was superb and one we will never forget.

When a trip is most enjoyable overall, it is difficult to identify favorite experiences. The excellent guides were certainly a highlight for us. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing sights by foot or bicycle, both on our own and with the two guides. Visiting the castles at Cesky Krumlov and Lednice were highlights as well.

Dasha prepared a perfect itinerary in accordance with my wishes, and every part of that itinerary was very special. Even though the itinerary was at the very beginning of the White Nights and the theatre performance listing was very close to when I arrived, Exeter was able to get me tickets to the three performances I most wanted to see, which was special. But really it was the guide, Ludmilla that made this trip so outstanding and really makes it impossible to key in on favorite experiences, because they all were. What more can I say?

Larissa in Bucharest was one of the best guides we have had. She did a great job of planning events that fit exactly what we wanted to see and know. She cut out the parts that would bore us. She kept a close eye on us from afar when we weren't under her direct guidance by making calls on our behalf and making sure that everything worked out for us perfectly. She was fantastic!

Dino was a truly amazing guide. He had a spectacular amount of knowledge and we greatly enjoyed our several days with him. He provided a lot of information without providing too much information. We would recommend him to anyone visiting Split.

We have only the highest praise for Maria, our guide in St. Petersburg.  She has more knowledge than Wikipedia and provides it in the best possible manner. She is completely professional, cooperative and flexible. If Maria and Exeter cannot get it done, no one can. Wonderful!! Always the best possible experience! Thanks for another wonderful trip.

Thank you so much for organizing such a special trip. We've had a fantastic time and are due to be picked up any minute to head off to the Summer Palace to see The Amber Room en-route to the airport.

The hotels have been wonderful and everyone is really helpful.

The guides have been fantastic, we had Marina in Moscow and then Anna here in St. Petersburg , the Curator of The Hermitage, Alexei was unbelievably knowledgeable.

Everything was spectacular. Best vacation ever from my perspective. Daniel in Berlin and Lucia in Prague were fantastic, especially Daniel. We learned so much from him and his English was impeccable and able to translate all the history well. Lucia was very sweet and knowledgeable. The train rides were wonderful and scenic. All the sightseeing was incredible. The food was fantastic. You really set up the perfect itinerary and we are so appreciative. We are sitting at the airport and don't want to leave.

We spent a memorable week travelling through Uzbekistan in September. The history and architecture are both fascinating, and our knowledgeable guide Babur brought the era of Tamerlane to life for us. Our thanks to the Exeter team for creating a superb tailor made trip.

Uzbekistan is a revelation, a true collision of history and modern life.  The mosques are beautiful, the people are friendly, the shopping is magnificent, and my understanding of Central Asia’s importance in our global world increased exponentially.  What a rich, worthy destination!  I urge any serious traveler to go soon; Peter Hopkirk’s The Great Game is required reading.

Traveling with Exeter is a luxury on many levels - perhaps foremost in the guarantee that every guide would be one of the finest available. They were as knowledgable as they were enthusiastic - a winning combination for sure!

I was lucky and smart enough to be part of Exeter founder's tour of Armenia, Georgia, and Azerbaijan in September.  What a wonderful tour - from start to finish.  The Armenian countryside with its many scenic monasteries, the charming and enchanting city of Tbilisi - the capital of Georgia, Stalin's hometown of Gori in Georgia, and the mix of historic and new in Baku, Azerbaijan were just a few of the many highlights of our exciting trip.  We were fortunate to be accompanied by Exeter's delightful founder Greg Tepper, who regaled us with stories from his extensive travels around the world.  We were cared for at every turn by Greg and his wonderful staff who ensured that the trip was wrinkle free.  I look forward to my next trip with Exeter. 

Many thanks for your help in organizing our trip to Moscow and for keeping my surprise visit a secret!!  It was a great finale to a wonderful holiday full of old and now new memories.

Thank you so much for organizing our trip to  St. Petersburg. We had a fabulous time and both of us came away as huge fans of the city and its people.

Choosing Anya as our guide was absolutely spot on, as she was attentive, relaxed and great company. We learnt a huge amount and really enjoyed our time with her (hopefully she felt the same).

The Astoria was an excellent choice of hotel and the Vishneva gala concert was quite an event.

I absolutely loved St. Petersburg and want to go back. Picking my favorite sight is like picking among the kids. They were all amazing. 

I wanted to say that the "Exeter Extraordinary Experience" visit of the Strahov Monastery in Prague was incredible!  It far exceeded my expectations and made me so glad we had booked our trip with you.  The backstage tour at the Estes Theater in Prague and the private tour at the Karlstejn Castle in the Czech Republic were both exceptional, as well. 

Leila was fabulous.  She should be promoted to Croatian Travel Goddess, so she can be properly worshiped as the deity she is.  She personally greeted us upon our arrival at the hotel in Dubrovnik and gave us an overview of what to expect while we were in Croatia.  Lejla called each guide each day we were with the guide to check on how things were going. We felt that she went out of her way to make sure that we had the best possible experience, and we did.

The Augustine was lovely in its simple elegance and our guide Camilla was an absolutely a gem. She was so knowledgeable and helpful, and sharing her personal experiences really made a difference. We really liked her as a person.

Also, we appreciate the detail, nuances, quality of drivers and guides that you carefully and meticulously provide. They are not lost on us.

The Exeter Exclusive Events were unforgettable. The Kremlin Palace, the backstage tour of the Bolshoi where we actually got to see a ballet rehearsal, the tour of the Hermitage, the storerooms of the Hermitage, and the Faberge Museum were highlights of the trip for us

Many thanks for organising a wonderful trip to Uzbekistan. It was simply amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed visiting historic cities of Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva. Everything worked like clockwork and your attention detail was great. Our local guide was very knowledgeable and took great personal care of us.

A big thank you to you and your team for organising the visit to the Faberge exhibition… we were the only persons in the exhibition room - so were able to view the Eggs just as we wanted. It was a superb experience, for which thank you again

The Alfons Mucha home is a living museum. We have had a personal tour of some two hours by its 91 year-old curator and it has been frankly quite special. If She can pull off stunts like this on a regular basis, no wonder they say she is the best guide in Prague.

Exeter Travel is the very best way to see Russia. Don’t take it on by yourself! They specialise in cultural events and can customise a private trip for you as well, truly a life for a Tsar! They are the very best and I recommend them very highly. Have taken two tours with them and am looking forward to a third.
