Sail down the beautiful rivers

Overview

The cultural, economic, and political center of Slovakia, Bratislava straddles the Danube River. A city of glorious architecture, historical center, quaint cafes and sleepy old-world charm, it is one of the hidden gems of Central Europe, waiting to be discovered.

Strategically situated, Bratislava is a melting pot for Czechs, Hungarians, Austrians, Germans, and Poles who have drifted in overtime to blend in with the Slovakians. While it has a rich history, Bratislava is one of Europe’s newest university capitals and has a young and dynamic local population that live a vibrant life. The Old Town area exudes old world romance with its cobbled streets, gorgeous architecture, historical buildings around every corner, and buzzes with activity around beer and wine taverns, coffeehouses and restaurants. Don’t miss visiting the picturesque and historical Bratislava Castle to learn more about this city’s ancient heritage. Discover the beauty of Bratislava with Exeter International.
