Day 1

Arrival into Berlin, where you will be met by your driver for your transfer to your hotel in the center of the city, Mitte. The largest and most modern of the Central European capital, Berlin has reinvented itself since reunification into Europe’s powerhouse city. Each area has its own unique character, from the historical heart in Mitte to the hipster center of Kreuzberg. With over 80 museums from contemporary art to WWII history, and the outstanding Berlin Philharmonic, now joined by the Frank Gehry designed Pierre Boulez Saal concert hall, high culture predominates.

Day 2

Today, your bike guide will meet you for a tour of Berlin on two wheels, delving into the city’s rich history and the impact of the Berlin Wall. You will explore remnants of the Wall, tracing its path through the city and uncovering poignant stories of division and resilience. Gain insight into the Cold War era and the struggle for freedom as you pedal through iconic landmarks and learn about the significance of this historic barrier.

Alternatively, you may choose to explore the vibrant and eclectic side of Berlin. You’ll venture off the beaten path to discover the city’s underground art scene, alternative lifestyles, and unconventional spaces. From street art to hidden gems, immerse yourself in Berlin’s avant-garde culture and gain a unique perspective on this dynamic city’s thriving subcultures.

Day 3

Enjoy your morning at leisure.

Exeter Extraordinary Experience

This afternoon, you have a private tour of the Boros Gallery. This former Nazi bunker houses the private contemporary art collection of Polish-born entrepreneur Christian Boros. It features works from international artists from 1990 with ever-changing exhibitions.

Later today, you will also visit the Museum Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is the home to many of Berlin’s top museums, including the Neues Museum. Here you will find the bust of Nefertiti in her stunning new environment. This museum houses the contents of the Egyptian museum, as well as the Museum of Pre- and Early- History. Day 4

Today, you will experience Berlin and Germany’s contemporary food culture and lifestyle accompanied by a culinary insider. Begin with a market tour in the lively neighborhood of Schöneberg, located in former West Berlin. After browsing through the different stands, you will select the products you will be savoring during lunch today.

Afterwards, head to the chef’s home and begin the cooking adventure! You will elaborate some of the finest German dishes, while learning about the culture and history of the city, the products, and the local life.

Day 5

This morning after check-out, your driver will meet you in the lobby of your hotel for your transfer to the airport to catch your onward flight.
