Falsled Kro, a Relais and Chateaux property, is located on the garden isle of Fyn, known for the birthplace of Hans Christian Andersen. The boutique hotel is a 16th century building with a thatched roof and retains plenty of its historic charm. The hotel’s restaurant, Almanac, is listed as Michelin Guide recommendation and offers 4 and 6 course set menu dinners. Gardens surround the hotel, providing 80% of the restaurant’s vegetables. Originally the Royal Danish Conservatory of Music, this grand building underwent a transformation to become the newest hotel for Nobis. Opened in September 2017, the hotel features 77 rooms designed by architect Gert Wingårdh. Well located, near Tivoli Gardens, the hotel will soon open its Nordic cuisine restaurant.
The hotel features a gym, sauna, hamam, bar, and lounge area. All guests receive complimentary Wi-Fi, robes and slippers, and all rooms have air conditioning for the summer months.
